Overview
To access your source reports from the SendPro dashboard, open the Report menu en select the item Sources. This opens an overview of all the sources you are reporting on, including an overview of the sent and delivered emails of the past month:
By clicking a line item, you open a report specifically for that source. You will see several graphics in this report. The default summary is set for today. The example below shows how a month in shown.
The overview gives you specific information about activity from that source in each period. It shows you the number of messages and their message state. The statistics are a subset of the set above. Delivered is a subset of sent, clicked is a subset of delivered.
- Processed emails
- Sent emails
- Delivered emails
- Opened emails (when Open & Click tracking is added)
- Clicked emails (when Open & Click tracking is added)
It also gives you an overview of the top bounce reasons for this source, the most sent Flows, and its recent messages. By clicking one of the messages, you can also zoom in on their message details. For more information, see: What do the different Message states mean?
The timeframe for the report can be changed by clicking on the calendar at the top right corner of the screen. The statistics on the page will change accordingly.
Average delivery
On the source report page, you can see a graphic showing the average delivery time for your emails. These graphic scales based on the calculated average delivery time. While a high delivery time might raise eyebrows, it is important to know that the bulk of emails are delivered within seconds. However, messages that cannot be successfully delivered, due to receiving servers not responding, will impact the average delivery time disproportionately. As these messages take a log time to be successfully delivered.
If a server does not respond, we will try for up to 72 hours to deliver the message. In other cases, we will give back a bounce after 24 or 48 hours when a receiving server does not respond.
Source queue
The source queue shows the queue size, the queued messages and the processed messages. In general, if this graphic is empty, everything is perfect. If you just submitted a very large number of emails in very small timeframe, a slight spike may appear but that should resolve over time.
Top bounce reasons and Top flows
It also gives you an overview of the top bounce reasons for this source and the mnost sent used flows. You can go directly to the report for these flows by clicking on the name in the table.
At the bottom of the page, you will see a table with the most recent messages and their most recent message state. You can click on each message on the table to see the details of that message.
It is possible to export the message details by clicking on the export CSV button on the top right corner of the messages table.
When exporting this file, you receive a CSV file with the following details:
- Id
- Submitted (moment the message was successfully submitted)
- Sender

A Source Notification sends an email to a chosen address whenever there’s an error with that source. This is useful for sending alerts directly to the people responsible for that system. Set up Source Notifications under Design > Notifications.
