The SendPro platform allows you to view report flows. With a report on each flow, you can have a better insight into the state and statistics of your flows. To access your flow report, go to the Report module and click on the Flows tab.
Overview
In the overview of the flow report, you will see all the flows in your environment. Besides that, you will see how many messages have been put into that flow and how many of them have been delivered. The delivery rate is impacted by bounces, errors and discarded events. If you want to see the details of a specific flow, click on the the flow and you will be directed to the dedicated flow report.
Graphics
The flow report shows you two important graphics. First, it shows the number of emails processed, sent, delivered, opened and clicked. Using the date picker at the top right corner, you can change the timeframe. The graphics and information you will see change accordingly.
As you can see in the image above, a color code is used to show the most recent state of the emails that have been sent through the flow. In general, yellow and red require your attention. The other colors are successfully delivered messages, depending on if you have open and click tracking enabled in your flows.
If the graphics has orange portions, your messages have either been aggregated, discarded or are held because of an error.
If the graphics has red portions, it is most likely that your emails are bouncing or that, for some reason, receiving MTA's cannot be reached or are not accepting your emails.
Summary
The summary at the top right side of the screen is a good way to see how well emails are processed, sent and delivered. You can set the timeframe for the report by using the date picker next to the summary.
The numbers form a funnel, where each step represents a subset of the previous one. So, Sent comes from Processed, Delivered comes from Sent, Opened comes from Delivered and Clicked comes from Opened.
For percentages, this works the same way. For example, the open rate shows how many of the delivered messages were opened, not how many were sent in total. It's a simple funnel that shows how far each message got.
Top bounce reasons
The Top bounce reasons tab shows you a summary of the reason why an email has bounced, the percentage (compared to all bounces) and the number of bounces belonging to this bounce category.
With this table you can monitor if emails are processed properly and delivered. The reasons why emails are bouncing are different for each case. However, some cases are clearer than others. For example, if you see a lot of recipient unknown bounces, chances are likely that people are mistyping their email address or that you have a lot of email addresses in your system that are no longer active of never have been active.
For a full list of your undelivered messages and their bounce reasons, you can look at the Undelivered Messages page.
Top links
The Top links tab shows which links, if click tracking is applied to the link, are clicked on the most. The name is determined by the title/data-name within the <a> tags in the body of your email. If the title/data-name is not set, we will use the URL that has been clicked on.
Messages
The Messages tab shows you the most recent messages by default in the timeframe set using the date picker. You can navigate through all the pages using the buttons on the bottom right of the table. It is possible to see the details of each message by clicking on the message in the table. It will directly send you to the message in your dashboard.
It is possible to export the message from the set timeframe into a CSV file. Here are the fields that are available in the CSV export:
- Id
- Submitted
- Sender
- Recipient
- Type
- Source
- Flow
- Status
- Subject
- Message-ID
