  • Click on the source to edit.
  • On the sources page, you’ll see a Disable checkbox.

Warning

Deleting a source makes all associated credentials immediately invalid. This means your external system will no longer be able to send messages via SendPro.

Creating new credentials

You can generate multiple sets of credentials for a single source. This is helpful when:

  • You have multiple systems or users sending messages from the same source.
  • You want to manage access separately for different processes.

To create a new credential set:

  1. Navigate to Setup > Sources & API
    Sources and API.png
  2. Click Create Credentials.
    Create credentials_SPR.png
  3. Choose the desired source.

You’ll be guided through the credential creation process. All existing credentials for that source will remain active.

Editing existing credentials

To update the settings of a credential set:

  1. Go to Setup > Sources & API.
    Sources and API.png
  2. Select the relevant source.
  3. Click the credential set you wish to edit.

You can modify:

  • The description
  • Restrictions or settings associated with usage
  • Delete a credential set

Warning

The password cannot be changed once created.

If You've Lost a Password

SendPro passwords are only shown once during creation and are stored securely. If you’ve lost a password, there is no way to retrieve or reset it.

Instead, create a new credential set for that source.

Once your system is working with the new credentials and no one else is using the old ones, you can safely delete the previous credential set.

Best Practices

  • Always store passwords securely when generating credentials.
  • Use separate credentials for different users or processes to improve traceability and security.
  • Use the Disable option instead of deleting if you think you may need the source again later.
