Using Flow Types

 This feature is exclusively for Flowmailer Pro users. 

Flow Types allow you to create a standard set of designs for your Flows. A Flow Type works the same way a Flow does, it only applies to every Flow you want without rebuilding it. In the example below, we created a Flow Type for every email that requires tracking and sending the email to an internal system as a BCC mail:

Now, when you apply the Flow Type "Email with Tracking" to a new or updated Flow, it follows the steps determined in the Flow Type:

  1. Send a BCC email to a predefined or variable email address;
  2. Add open tracking;
  3. Add click tracking;
  4. Add an analytics integration.

Adding the Flow Type is easy: you create a new or update an existing Flow from the Design menu and select the correct Flow Type under 'Flow type':
