From User Interface and usability tweaks to SMS handling and changes in how we will archive messages in the near future. It's a lot of useful improvements across the board!
In this release:
Clearer Explanations & Warnings
We improved texts, making features behave more consistently, and refining warnings and messages. This helps you as a user, better understand what’s happening and why. This is what we improved:
- Added a note to the whitelist setting explaining account users are always on the whitelist
- Changed warning text when setting an empty return path
- Changed the error message for SAML users who try to log in without first being assigned a role
- Added a 'Reason' field when adding or editing a user. This way support can provide a reason for accessing an account, helping to avoid confusion and improving transparency.
- Improved the explanation for the allowed senders and domain in sources.
More Consistent Behavior
- Data field now saves case changes. Differences like hello and hEllo, are now recognized when needed.
- <#include> codes in Flowstep dynamic content are now auto-updated on copying those flows.
- Servicedesk-level users no longer see the Resend button - because they don’t have permission to use it. No more dangling carrots they can’t actually bite.
- Changing your password from the Profile page now requires your old password
- We rebranded the Spotler contact flowstep to Spotler Mail+, and changed the name of the default Flowmailer Source to SendPro.
SMS handling improvements
We've made several improvements to SMPP sources, giving you more control and transparency over SMS behavior. This is what we improved:
- When resubmitting an SMS into another flow, the original sender is now retained. You can still override it by setting a new sender in that flow.
- SMS senders (the name the SMS is sent from) longer than 11 characters now trigger an error. This was never allowed by SMS standards, but we now clearly warn you.
- We have made it possible to add the SendPro account ID to SMS. This way, if you use Spotler Message, can easily determine the amount of messages sent for that one client.
- Various minor fixes for SMPP handling.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where base 64 images displayed wrong in the template preview
- Fixed an issue where files with special characters added in the attachment flowstep were dropped
- Fixed an issue where the user link in audit log was broken
- Fixed an issue where it was not possible to disable the new webhooks via Api
